Frequently asked questions

How should I choose venetian blinds in Monthey?

Consider the slat width, colour and whether you want manual or motorised control. Check that the blind box or recess allows the chosen model to be fitted. The installer can advise on wind resistance and automated control options.

How should wind exposure and controls be considered for an awning?

Describe the position, exposure and how the shaded space is used. Ask the installer to assess supports and propose suitable controls and operating instructions. Do not assume the same awning suits every facade or that automation removes the need for safe use and maintenance.

What should I compare in blinds and awnings installer quotes?

Compare fabric or slat specification, supports, controls and fitting against the same openings. Distinguish new supply from motorisation or repair of an existing unit. Check electrical work, final adjustment and operation instructions, and ask what maintenance the proposed product requires.

How should I prepare for the blinds and awnings installer visit or work?

Provide safe photographs and any information about existing units or controls. Note facade access and objects near the opening. Confirm dimensions and colour choices before manufacture, and arrange permission for shared facades where necessary without dismantling high-level mechanisms yourself.
