Private legal protection insurance: prepare your project

Private legal protection insurance

State the areas where you want legal protection: housing and tenancy, employment, road traffic, consumer contracts or disputes with insurers. Specify the people to cover, any existing policy and the start date you have in mind.

Compare the legal areas covered, maximum amounts paid, deductibles, waiting periods and free choice of lawyer. Ask about exclusions, in particular disputes already under way when the policy starts.

You can submit your request without an account. The e-devis.ch administration reviews it and decides whether to share it according to the trade and service area. Confirmation of receipt does not guarantee a quote or response time. You choose the company and agree the price, schedule and contract directly with it.

Questions before your request

Can a dispute that has already started be covered?

Legal protection policies generally exclude disputes that arose before the policy started or during a waiting period. Describe your situation without going into the substance of the case; the insurer or broker will tell you what the proposed cover can take on.

Are my contact details and attachments public?

No. The administration and authorised companies that have purchased access to your request can view the relevant contact details and documents. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in your description.
