Pet insurance: prepare your project

Pet insurance

State the animal to insure (dog, cat, horse or other), its breed, age and known state of health. Specify the cover you want: veterinary costs for illness or accident, owner’s liability, and the start date.

Compare the veterinary costs covered (illness, accident, surgery, medication), annual ceilings, deductibles and waiting periods. Ask about exclusions for pre-existing or hereditary conditions and age limits.

You can submit your request without an account. The e-devis.ch administration reviews it and decides whether to share it according to the trade and service area. Confirmation of receipt does not guarantee a quote or response time. You choose the company and agree the price, schedule and contract directly with it.

Questions before your request

Can an animal that is already ill be insured?

Conditions known before the policy starts are generally excluded or subject to conditions. Describe your animal’s state of health fully; the insurer will tell you what the proposed cover can take on and from when.

Are my contact details and attachments public?

No. The administration and authorised companies that have purchased access to your request can view the relevant contact details and documents. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in your description.
